→ Marais – Paris 75003 / France
The spearheads for the design of this Parisian apartment with an area of 95 m2 were flexibility and space optimization.
Turnkey project: search for the right, architectural design, construction oversight and execution, precise budget management and decoration. In this remodeling, the original space was reworked in order that it could house a new layout sought by the clients: two bedrooms (the main with dressing room) and a playroom, two bathrooms, one with a toilet only, a guest bathroom, an American kitchen, dining room and laundry room.
→ The original spaces were inverted in order to accommodate the new layout.
→ Built-in carpentry was designed for each room.
The laundry room, an additional room, a pantry adjacent to the kitchen and a bathroom that did not originally exist could thus be incorporated. A sound and image system with projector and a drop-down screen over the dining table, all hidden, were installed. For the small playroom (which could also serve as guest room and, eventually, as a room for one of the children), a built-in ceiling bed was installed, which descends to the level of the room’s furniture.
