Flat refurbishing

This Parisian 130 m2 apartment required a total renovation, consistent with the new layout requested and the clients’ budget. The assignment entrusted comprised from the initial architectural design and precise budget management, to the oversight and execution of the work. The owners acquired a service room that was connected to the apartment from the living room via a spiral staircase. A part of the bearing wall, located at the entrance, was demolished in order to alter the spatial perception and gain natural light. The original wooden columns were preserved and highlighted with a touch of gray.

The original floorplan was modified to optimize the space:

A double space living-dining room was created (with built-in carpentry) and an access to the new room via the spiral staircase, modifying as well the two rooms on the ground floor with new made to measure furniture, the design of a dressing room and a bathroom in the main bedroom and a new bathroom for the children (the original apartment had only one bathroom), and opening of a transition space and a coat rack at the entranceway.
