Family Apartement Gare de Lyon
One of the main challenges of the remodeling work on this family apartment in Paris was to meet a record execution deadline of four and a half months. We succeeded. The primary objective, more than just a simple beautification, was to find space for an additional room and to enlarge the existing rooms. To achieve this, the bathroom was moved to the space of the old kitchen, and the latter was installed in the living room. In the place of the bathroom, a new children’s bedroom was created, allowing the apartment to transition from two to three bedrooms. We also gained space by integrating built-in cabinetry that did not exist before. An opening was created in the wall separating the living room and the hallway, bringing more light and character to the entrance.
